Ranchview High School Important Dates for the 2010-2011 School Year REGISTRATION for all students new to the school district will be held in the RHS student services office on August 3rd-6th from 7:30 a.m-12:00 p.m. or 1:00-3:00 p.m. Please call (972) 968-5032 for an appointment. Parents enrolling new students should bring two proofs of residency (a lease or property tax statement and one current utility bill in the parent’s name), the student’s birth certificate, social security card, and most recent school records. SCHEDULE PICK-UP will be held at school on August 9th and 10th. A specific time has been reserved for each student so that personal attention may be provided. All schedule pick-up sessions will also include a required parent presentation in the cafeteria and a small group meeting in your student’s advisory class. These meetings are critical so that all students start the year prepared to do their very best. August 9th: Juniors and parents meet from 5:00-7:00; Seniors and parents meet from 5:30-7:30 August 10th: Freshmen and parents meet from 5:00-7:00; Sophomores and parents meet from 5:30-7:30 CLASS OF 2014 WELCOME MEAL – Parent and student members of the RHS class of 2014 (incoming freshmen) are invited to participate in a specially planned dinner during schedule pick up. Dinner will be served after the parent meetings and schedule pick up events beginning at approximately 6:30. This is a great time to meet new families and make some new friends while learning more about RHS! Volleyball and Football practices will begin on August 2nd, 2010. School will begin on August 23rd.
