Robert Atchison has served as a proud member of the Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD community for the past 21 years, with successful leadership experiences at both the elementary and secondary levels.

Most recently, Atchison served as the principal of DeWitt Perry Middle School, where he led with a focus on high expectations, strong relationships, instructional clarity and intentional support for all students.

Throughout his career, Atchison has been known as a systems builder, instructional leader and champion for students. He has helped lead campuses through growth and improvement by focusing on strong culture, clear expectations, collaborative teams and consistent instructional practices. His leadership is grounded in the belief that all students can achieve at high levels when supported by caring adults, strong relationships and excellent instruction.
Atchison and his wife, Jennifer, who also serves as an assistant principal in Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD, have three children, one in elementary school and two in high school.

Atchison is honored to join the Ranchview High School community and looks forward to partnering with students, staff, families and the broader community to build on the school’s strengths while continuing to create opportunities for every student to succeed. 
 

Ashley Davidson

My name is Ashley Davidson and I am embarking on my 16th year in education. I am a proud CFB alum and a committed educator. For the first 10 years I dedicated myself to serving students as a coach and teacher and now entering my 6th year serving as an administrator. 

My first four years in CFB I was welcomed into the pack at Ranchview and it has been rewarding to come back and serve as the Associate Principal. It is deeply meaningful and exciting to have the opportunity to come full circle to a community that I hold dear, and I am eager to contribute to the continued success and development of our students, families and staff.

When I am not working I am the mom to four fur babies. I love sports, traveling, and going to the beach. My motto is, "Success is the result of preparation."

Hello!

I’m proud to be a product of CFBISD, having attended Sheffield, Dan F. Long, and graduating from Newman Smith High School. I earned my bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas and began my teaching career in Dallas. I eventually found my way back home to CFBISD, where I’ve spent the past three years at Polk Middle School serving as a teacher, coach, and instructional facilitator. During my time at Polk I earned my master’s degree in educational administration from Lamar University. 

Outside of school, I enjoy cheering on my kids as they compete in basketball, baseball, and cheer. In our free time, my wife and I love watching movies, relaxing by the pool, and traveling with our two children.

I’m looking forward to a fantastic year ahead and to working together to support your students' success!

I am excited to join Ranchview High School this 2026/2027 school year! It is my pleasure to serve this community! This marks my ninth school year as part of CFBISD. During my tenure in the district, I have worked as a Behavior Specialist at both Blalack Middle & Newman Smith High School and as an Assistant Principal at Newman Smith.

I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Government/Legal Studies from Texas Woman’s University. Additionally, I earned two Master’s degrees from the University of North Texas: the first in Special Education (Emotional/Behavioral Disorders), and the second in Education Administration. I hold a Principal as Instructional Leader certification, as well as a Special Education EC-12 certification. I spent my years in the classroom as a Special Education teacher in Sanger ISD at the Challenge Program and in Denton ISD at Guyer and Braswell High Schools. I strive to foster a culture that encourages mutual respect, collaboration, and individual creativity. I believe in meeting students where they are so that we can support them in achieving the success they are striving for. Students are capable of learning and retaining knowledge as long as they feel seen, heard, valued, and supported.

Leading with a servant heart, empathy, and respect for each individual are non-negotiables I have set for myself. I look forward to connecting with this community of diverse learners and stakeholders. I am here to support and serve in any way I can, so please don’t ever hesitate to let me know how I can help you and your students.
