Meet the Assistant Principals
Dr. LaDacher Jackson (A-K)
Welcome!!
I am Dr. L. Dai Jackson, and I have the privilege of serving as an Assistant Principal at Ranchview High School. My excitement for being back at Ranchview, where my career in education began eleven years ago, is through the roof. During my time in CFB I have served as a teacher and step team sponsor at Barbara Bush Middle School as well as an assistant principal at Newman Smith High School.
I am a firm believer that nothing worth doing will ever be easy. Each individual must face their fears and overcome their adversities in order to achieve greatness and make a positive difference in the lives of others. I encourage students to be lifelong learners who enjoy gaining and putting to use new knowledge. I also desire for students to build strong, positive character traits preparing themselves to be local and global citizens who care for others and positively influence their various communities. My philosophy is education is more than academics. It is the socialization of generations. Every individual has an inalienable right to knowledge concerning a variety of academic subjects, including the arts, human interactions and the journey of life. Those who share this knowledge take it upon themselves to build the foundations on which future generations will stand. I am so proud to play a role in helping others reach their destiny.
I was born and raised in Dallas where I graduated from Skyline High School. I have earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Master of Science degrees from the University of North Texas as well as a Master of Education degree from Lamar University. I also completed my Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership at Grand Canyon University. When I am not working, I enjoy doing community service with my Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority sisters, mentoring, watching documentaries, hanging out with family and friends, traveling, going to the movies and shopping for my favorite accessory, SHOES!!
I am looking forward to working with our Ranchview Wolves this year. Please let me know how I can be of service.
Let’s Go Wolf Pack!!!!
