Strands
Culinary Arts
Culinary Arts at Ranchview High School teaches students valuable skills in the areas of food prep, food science, kitchen math, and food presentation. It is perfect for students with any degree of experience in the kitchen. They will leave with the skills and knowledge to survive on their own as well as the skills needed to succeed in a professional food service setting.
Travel, Tourism & Attractions
The Travel, Tourism, and Attractions program of study introduces CTE learners to occupations and educational opportunities related to the marketing or sales of travel and tourism services. This program of study allows students to learn how to plan, direct, and coordinate marketing or business policies and programs, including identifying potential customers and determining demand and promotional strategies for products and services.
Lodging & Resort Management
Students working toward accommodation pathways perform tasks related to the operation of accommodation facilities and the care of guests who use those facilities, either by direct contact with guests or by providing background services that enhance the guest experience. I can do it.
