Theatre
Technical Theatre: The fundamentals on building and designing elements used in the theatre. We discuss topics covering scenery, lighting, properties, sound, makeup, and costumes. Students also learn to operate the theatric technology and work events and shows in the auditorium.
Theatre: In a theatre class, students create, take risks, and eventually perform. Mutual trust is vital to the success of the class and the development of student potential. Theatre students will have an opportunity to learn about and appreciate ensemble, performance spaces, the stage, blocking, acting, stage make-up, improvisation, audience etiquette, play and character analysis, duet scenes, monologues, theatre history, careers in theatre, and an introduction to technical theatre.
