Door/Window Contest
Get ready for the Door Decorating Contest!
Theme: BEAT THE BOBCATS
Start decorating: September 2th at 4:00 PM
Deadline: September 15th at 6:00 PM
Winner will be announced September 17th during the school pep rally!
Expectations
- Advisory classes will decorate their classroom doors to show off our Wolfpack Pride.
- Doors should be finalized by 6 PM September 15.
- Judging will begin Tuesday, Sept. 16 morning. Points will be deducted if doors are not attached properly or falling apart. The results will be announced on Wednesday at the school pep rally!
- All Advisory classes should compete in the door decorating competition.
- Supplies/Preparation: Advisory classes should spend time before Sept. 15th creating their door decoration. There are rolls of butcher paper available in the upstairs copy room. The Art Department is not responsible for providing Art Supplies.
Rules/ Non-Negotiables
- The door can be decorated using anything in relation to the theme, Beat the Bobcats, and school spirit. The window decorations are separate from the door decorations.
- You may cover as much of the doorway area as long as the doorway is still functional.
- If you help make a mess, you help clean it up.
- Teacher advisors may make changes, alter plans, and/or end decorating at any time without warning.
Restrictions
- You cannot interfere with emergency equipment.
- You cannot cover-up exit signs, fire extinguishers, or sprinkler heads.
- You may not put holes in the walls. Use tape to hang things up. (NO Staples/Tacks/Nails)
- No sand, fog machines, glitter, confetti, flames, etc.
- You cannot restrict doors from being opened.
- You cannot interfere with the ability of students to use the hallway.
- Nothing you cover can interfere with the events inside of the classrooms in your hallway. For example, if you would like to play music in your hallway, it may only play between classes and must be turned off during class time.
- All elements of the hallway must be school-appropriate.


Dance

Rules/Non-Negotiables

Any students who owe fees or fines (badges, books, technology, or otherwise) can not attend homecoming even if they purchase a ticket. Make sure you pay your fees and fines before Thursday afternoon, and remember there is no school on Friday.
- Purchase pre-sale tickets online or in person during lunches Sept. 10 to 18 with the bookkeeper, Ms. Chavez.
- Purchase tickets at the door for $35.
- Non-RHS guest must have a completed guest form signed by their school and turned into the main office by Thursday, Sept. 18th. Access this form here.
