Honoring the Heart of Our Campus: Our School Counselors

This week, our school community is proud to celebrate Counselors Appreciation Week and recognize the incredible counselors who support, guide, and uplift our students every single day.

We are so thankful for Mrs. Nash, Ms. Smith, Mrs. McLeod, and Mrs. Sultemeier. Students and staff joined together to share heartfelt messages of appreciation, highlighting their compassion, encouragement, and unwavering support.

• Our counselors do an amazing job supporting all of our students! They are so caring and passionate and meet our students where they are with grace, compassion, and professionalism. Ranchview High School is so lucky to have these amazing women on our staff! - Sean Walker
• I can't say enough good things about our amazing counselors!! I have felt welcomed since coming to Ranchview in 2018, and a big part of that is due to the warmth and friendliness of Wynter and Tracey, the dynamic duo! They have helped me in many ways, whether it is a scheduling issue or just having their doors always open for a chat! A little later I was able to meet Kristen, and she has been such an asset to this campus. I have sent many kids to her to help navigate hardships, their feelings, and they have left with important lessons and healthy ways to cope and grow. And now this year, I met Ms. Smith and she is such a ball of sunshine! She is always willing to help and be supportive. I can always count on our counselors to be in their VIP seats at the musical and be our biggest cheerleaders. They understand how hard our kids work, and their positive energy keeps us going during the stressful seasons. Thank you so much, and love y'all! - Alexa Wolters

• Happy National School Counseling Week! I wanted to personally tell you how much I appreciate the heart you put into RHS. As Associate Principal, I have a front-row seat to the "behind-the-scenes" magic you pull off daily—balancing master schedule puzzles, ALL the graduation requirements, Dual Credit, picking up the extra work in CCMR.  Beyond the logistics of the job, thank you for being our students and families main line for support and resources as they navigate high school and beyond.
